Panel: “Design Trends for Kitchens & the Retail Sector” – Katrin de Louw

In her presentation, trend researcher and interior designer Katrin de Louw provides an in-depth outlook on upcoming interior design and kitchen trends. She not only highlights relevant developments in colours, materials, shapes and functions, but also places these within the context of broader social and economic changes. Particular attention is paid to the implications for kitchen retailers and kitchen showrooms: How are customer needs changing? Which living arrangements and lifestyles will shape tomorrow’s demand? And how can retailers successfully translate these trends into their advisory services, showrooms and communications?

Furthermore, the presentation will highlight specific, carefully selected ideas for the retail sector to target currently cautious consumers more effectively, stimulate impulse purchases and strengthen the relevance of high-street retail. The focus will be on practical approaches to modern customer engagement, emotional presentation and future-proof positioning within the competitive landscape.
