Renewed growth in 2015 – desirable additional benefits for exhibitors and visitors
The right event at the right time in the right place: that is perhaps the most concise and pertinent description of the area30 ordering trade fair. The upcoming event, which will be held in Löhne – the world kitchen capital – from 19 to 24 September, will once again attract those interested in kitchens and kitchen accessories. In view of the number of bookings, the trade fair is expected to see further growth, both in terms of surface area and exhibitor numbers. Visitors from Germany and neighbouring countries will be pleasantly surprised by the variety of product developments, innovations and attractive added benefits being presented by market leaders and newcomers in a pleasant business environment.
The annual autumn kitchen trade fair in East Westphalia and neighbouring Lower Saxony has become a permanent fixture for ordering activity in the kitchen sector.
A network including area30 and exciting in-house fairs
This network of in-house fairs and trade fair locations has enjoyed dynamic growth for many years. That is because this region is the heartbeat of the European kitchen furnishing industry and its suppliers.
“It is very important to us to be present at area30 for our customers from all over Germany and increasingly from other countries,” explains Gerhard Göbel, Managing Partner of Systemceram.
This year, area30 will be celebrating its fifth anniversary – the event is now held at the prime location in the heart of the kitchen furniture industry in the world kitchen capital of Löhne. When it premiered its highly successful trade fair concept in 2011, it was met with an extraordinary response, and 2015 is set to continue the trend of unbroken growth in visitor numbers.
Continuing growth in visitor numbers with an increasing international contingent
Over 10,000 trade specialists, buyers, industry representatives and media representatives are expected to attend the six days of the trade fair. The event will not only welcome visitors from Germany, but also an increasing number of kitchen enthusiasts from Belgium, France, Netherlands, Austria, Poland and Switzerland.

The trade fair’s first-class reputation is due in part to the trade fair concept that has been developed and continuously optimised by the organiser trendfairs GmbH. The focus here is on a whole package that is precisely tailored to the needs of the exhibitors and visitors to provide added value.
2015 features the biggest exhibition area and number of exhibitors to date

Smart newcomers on an equal footing with seasoned market leaders
Exhibitors from all product and service sectors are enthusiastic about the complete service portfolio offered by area30, which means that the 2015 event is set to be the largest one yet, with a total exhibition area of 7,400 m² (500 m² more than the previous year). Alongside traditional regular exhibitors, bs&bk, Fhiaba, Hammes Software, Hole in One, Komet, Panasonic, Wagner+Schönherr, Wanderinsel and Unika will be presenting at area30 in 2015 for the first time.
“It is important that our innovative highlights are represented at area30,” explains Ulf Triebener, Marketing Manager for Kitchen Installation Appliances for Panasonic Marketing Europe, who is looking forward to “to presenting the special features of our induction hob and our 3-in-1 compact oven at such a high-calibre event.”
Considerably more than 100 exhibitors and brands are expected to attend, meaning that the booking numbers of 109 presenters from the previous year has already been achieved. The successful mix of presentations will again appeal to well-known market leaders, such as those in the areas of auxiliary equipment, work surfaces, dishwashing, extractor hoods and planning systems, as well as new exhibitors who will bring surprising ideas or unusual themes to the event.
In doing so, area30 is securing its position as the central business focal point for newcomers, well-known industry stalwarts and experts from many countries. Every year it continues to be the hotspot in the autumn trade fair landscape – because it is exactly at this time of year that lists are compiled and orders are placed.
If everything goes to plan – the success story will continue
There are good reasons why area30 has achieved its position at the top: the aforementioned ideal trade fair location and the right order dates, the exceptional quality of service, the well-conceived multichannel communication, the unique array of exhibitors, and a level of flexibility towards the wishes and ideas of all participants, which is rarely seen elsewhere.

For this reason, the desirability of area30 has increased year on year. Interesting parallel events, such as the business press conference of the German branch association, add further value to the trade fair. And the direct proximity of the A30 motorway and the close links to the A2 to the Ruhr area allow for a quick journey to the trade fair. Conclusion: The unique attraction of area30 is now guaranteed for 2015!
