STRASSER Steine – that’s the kitchens future
STRASSER Steine Gmbh is Austrians leader in the natural kitchen countertop production. For more than 50 years now it has been producing in the centre of the granite area, the so called „Mühlviertel“. At the beginning of 2016 another branch was founded in Germany/Ingolstadt to ease the presence in the German market. The annual turnover in the year 2020 was 37,9 mio EUR. (250 employees)
The focus is put on the production of kitchen countertops in natural stone, ceramics, and engineered stone. Best quality and innovative thinking as well as the best service and friendly association with clients are on top priority. First class service by STRASSER from the time of the first telephone conversation until the assembling, that’s what our name stands for.
Semi gloss – the best of 2 worlds
The natural stones from STRASSER are unique in their optics as well as their consistence. The latest trend is semi gloss: a completely new technology combining the Leather look and polished surface into a matte and smooth haptics. In other words: a revolution in the field of surfaces of kitchen counter tops in natural stones with modern touch.
On the tracks of the Alps
In the last years the favourite trends in the kitchen countertop business were those natural stones with extra ordinary colours, most of them shown by STRASSER. The return to regionality and environmental sustainability is getting more and more important. For that reason STRASSER developed a special brand (the so called „World of Alps“) 3 years ago: regional and unique natural stones from the Alps. The market response in 2019 was quite satisfying. Especially „Alpengrün“ and „Gletscherbach“ have smoothed the way for the future. Because of that 3 more colours have been added to this brand: „Eiswind“, „Dunkelwalder“ and „Mühltalsee“.
Marbelous – marble with special finishing
In the past many works of arts have been made already in marble. With the new so called „marbelous“ development made by STRASSER it is now possible to produce kitchen counter tops in marble as well with a gentle surface feeling. Due to a special finishing the resistance to acid could be improved and liquids as red wine, vinegar and citric acid cannot affect the surface. In comparison to other natural stones marble is more sensitive regarding temperature difference and scratches but due to a unique finishing fingerprint won’t be visible.
