With a market share of around 65 percent, STRASSER Steine GmbH is the Austrian market leader in the field of high-quality kitchen countertops (natural stone, ceramics, Alpinova, quartz composite) and the largest producer in Central Europe. The company has been producing for almost 60 years in the Upper Austrian Mühlviertel, in the heartland of granite. Through the establishment of its own sales company in Kösching near Ingolstadt, the company has also had a nationwide presence on the German market since the beginning of 2016. International sales are carried out via kitchen and furniture retailers. In 2022, sales of 49.1 million euros were generated. At the end of 2022, STRASSER Steine had 285 employees.

The focus of production at STRASSER Steine is on high-quality kitchen countertops, which, in addition to natural stone countertops, have also included the first RE-STONING kitchen countertop - Alpinova - since mid-2022. The trend of today's society has been moving towards sustainability or recyclability for many years now. This trend has - especially in recent months - gained a strong momentum and will also increasingly find its way into the kitchen.

The return to the origin was already a part of the world of STRASSER Steine almost four years ago. With the introduction of the regional alpine world assortment it hit at that time exactly the tooth of the time. Just like back then, the call for regionality is stronger today than ever before.
