The kitchen ceramics with the extra hardness

systemceram primarily manufactures sinks for the modern fitted kitchen under the name "KeraDomo Küchenkeramik". The basis is the high material quality of the ceramic fine stoneware. This is the highest grade of the ceramic quality scale. The "KeraDomo kitchen ceramics" was developed from the in-house laboratory ceramics and meets the strict requirements of this area of application. Thanks to the glaze burned in at 1240 degrees, the dense material has a particularly hard and smooth surface that is difficult for dirt to adhere to. This promotes ease of care and predestines the material for the diverse requirements in the kitchen. Porcelain stoneware sinks are impact, cut and shock resistant, hygienic, cold and heat resistant and tasteless and odorless. They are available from systemceram in a wide range of colors and shapes in various dimensions for classic installation from above, flush installation and for the substructure. On request also with the colour-coordinated fitting and other accessories such as the practical Medio mat. Added to this is the 100% recycling rate of the natural material.

A few years ago, the kitchen area was expanded to include the sale of bathroom ceramics via OEM partners. The company is still active in the “KeraLab Laborkeramik” business field. The sinks and work surfaces are made of porcelain stoneware, which must meet the strictest requirements of the relevant standard regulations for laboratory facilities. The modern production facilities at the Siershahn site in the Westerwald district are designed for the manufacture of ceramic specialties and not for mass-produced goods.

The systemceram company was formed at the turn of the year 1999/2000 from KCH Keramchemie, which discontinued its ceramics activities at the Siershahn site as part of a strategic reorientation on December 31, 1999. Three senior KCH employees acquired the cast ceramics division and founded systemceram on January 1, 2000 as part of a management buyout. The founders are Gerhard Göbel, Manfred Engel and Peter Noll. The family business is now managed by the next generation. By Kevin Göbel and Felix Engel as managing partners. As of mid-May 2022, systemceram employs around 250 men and women at the Berggarten 1 site in Siershahn. Sales in 2021 were EUR 41.5 million.

At area30 2022, systemceram is showing a range of new products in the three subject areas of sinks, fittings and accessories. These are 1. The expansion of the "Kara" series with the new single-bowl sink "Kara 51" for the 50 cm sink cabinet. 2. The expansion of the range of fittings, including the premium fitting "Tradizione" in the four possible surface finishes "chrome", "stainless steel finish", "matt black" and "matt gold brushed". And 3. Additions to the accessories with a silicone drip part to put on and a plastic corner shell.

In addition to the new products, the trade fair stand itself will be one of the highlights. Because it was recently redesigned. The focal point of the visual implementation are large-format motifs from the Westerwald, the home of the specialist for ceramic sinks made of fine stoneware. The aim is to make it clear that sustainability is not a new discipline for the company, but that it is a "practice that has been practiced for decades", as Kevin Göbel, Managing Partner, explains. And that important aspects of sustainability result from the natural sink material porcelain stoneware. Because the basic natural strength of the ceramic material is its 100% recyclability. In addition, the routes for supplying raw materials are particularly short. systemceram obtains more than 70% of the raw materials for sink production from a distance of less than 10 kilometers from the Siershahn production site.
