New ways in sink design
With the new "Juna" sink family, systemceram brings the organic design of today's living environments into the kitchen, boldly breaking new ground in the design of the water space. Characteristic of the new product are the emphatically soft radii. They allow the functional areas to merge into one another. The draining board slopes gently to three sides and opens up in a soft curve to the generous basin. This way, the water flows off easily and the surface can still be used as an additional preparation zone. The gentle radii also increase the ease of care of the robust and particularly smooth kitchen ceramics. The design was developed and realised in collaboration with the Hans Winkler design studio.
Two models for the premiere
For the premiere at area30 in Löhne in September 2023, systemceram is presenting two sizes and two installation types. The "Juna 90" for the 60 cm wide sink unit and the "Juna 75" for the 50 cm wide sink unit. Both models are available as a surface-mounted sink and as a flush-mounted version. And they are currently available in 15 ceramic colours. This variety enables individual implementation in every kitchen style. The latest addition since June 2023 is the "Yew" glaze. A dark green that is recommended as a combination partner for many wood and natural tones and harmonises very well with matt black and metallic looks.
Taps in organic design language as well
Parallel to the introduction of the "Juna" sink family, systemceram is adding three new models to its range of fittings, also in an organic design language. The tap bodies of the "Mania" models taper in a gentle transition towards the spout. The single-lever mixers are available in four finishes (chrome, stainless steel, matt black and matt gold) and three spout variants. As "Mania" with U-shaped fixed spout, as "Mania Soft" with round fixed spout and as "Mania Soft" with round spout and pull-out hand shower with two spray types. To conserve resources, all three new models are equipped with a flow limiter that reduces the amount of water by up to 50 percent.
