New XL sink and ‘Greige’ ceramic colour

This year at area 30, we are presenting our guests with a new MERA 57 in XL format – the perfect sink to complement an extra-deep worktop or island.

The MERA 57 XL is available in all four variants: from built-in and flush-mounted (with or without a tap hole) to undermount sinks.

A new benchmark for the modern kitchen: bigger is better. Side-by-side fridges, extra-wide ovens and hobs are growing in popularity with consumers. To match this trend, we are introducing our XL-format porcelain stoneware sink: the MERA 57 XL. More space all round and inside the sink.

This easy-to-maintain, king-size porcelain stoneware single-bowl sink is exceptionally practical for everyday use. Even baking trays and grill racks can be soaked without any problems. To accommodate this, the MERA 57 XL is 5 cm deeper. A worktop depth of at least 65 cm is required for installation.

New colour: GREIGE

A warm shade somewhere between beige, grey and light brown dominates the colour trends in interior design. By expanding our colour palette to include GREIGE, we offer an elegant and timeless alternative to the familiar black or white: with great potential to become your new favourite colour for your kitchen sink.
