area30: the reliable harbour - the renowned trade fair for the kitchen - profitable for exhibitors and visitors

Especially in economically challenging times, the established trade fair for the kitchen industry is becoming even more indispensable for entrepreneurial success

Preparations for the 14th, eagerly awaited area30 from 20 to 25 September 2025 are in full swing. Important industry players have confirmed their participation to trade fair organiser trendfairs - including a well-known global player that will be present at the exhibition centre in Löhne for the first time. The outstanding importance of area30 as a trade, business and communication platform for the European, if not global, kitchen industry becomes particularly clear in difficult economic times such as these.

In line with the motto "Facing the future with consistency, confidence and vision" and working together to master the challenging phase of the economy and, more importantly, the kitchen industry, the area30 trade fair will once again provide innovative impetus in 2025, exhibitors will present pioneering new developments, and industry and trade will discuss the next "deals" in a familiar environment for a prompt return to prosperous development with satisfied customers. To make it clear: area30 is as indispensable as a safe harbour where companies can flexibly and individually adapt their trade fair presence to their own market situation. What seems to be important for most companies is that no further fixed costs are "tied up" and that new decisions can be made year after year regarding stand size, stand positioning and brand presence.

In the few years since its premiere in 2011, area30 - a trade fair and now a community hotspot for kitchen studios, specialist kitchen retailers, trade groups, the large-scale sector as well as designers, architects, interior designers, media and influencers - has established itself as the most-visited meeting place in the autumn trade fair landscape for kitchens and interior design. At the Löhn exhibition centre in the heart of the German kitchen furniture industry, which is very well connected in terms of infrastructure, most exhibitors and brands come together with interested trade visitors in a highly concentrated location.

As a seasoned businessman, Daniel Hörnes, Managing Director of Quooker Deutschland GmbH, almost gets a little emotional when it comes to "his" area30: "We love area30 - we've been there since the first year and really enjoy the 6 days with our visitors. The atmosphere is outstanding and the event has developed into an important pillar of the kitchen industry. We are already looking forward to area30 2025!"

The following have currently secured their exhibition space: A.S.K., Amica international, Berbel, DVA Sanitary Ware, Frio Germany, Gräbert, Hotrega, Hottscan, Joh. Sprinz, Junsky Appliances, Just Naturstein, der Küchenatlas and Küchentreff, Naber, Oranier, PKM, Quooker, Reginox, Strasser Steine, Systemceram, Ukinox, Veyma Trading and many other well-known names from previous events. However, a world-renowned 'big ship' will be 'docking' for the first time in 2025: the Häfele Group, which intends to further strengthen its strong position in hardware and locking systems via this sales channel.

The market leaders in the industry as well as numerous newcomers with smart business ideas place their trust in the location and the organiser. Like Naber, for example, whose Managing Director Lasse Naber emphasises: "area30 is a clear choice for us - it is the leading trade fair in the industry. For Naber, it is the ideal stage to present our products to the trade public. We sell kitchen accessories that make people's everyday lives easier and more enjoyable. We have been part of the area30 family for many years and enjoy the atmosphere and service as well as the business success."

Thanks to impressive additional formats such as the "Future Talks" or the "Stage", area30 has proven time and again where the who's who of kitchens see their 'industry home'. This carefully constructed unique position remains exceptional, and visitor demand and media interest are always correspondingly high. This year, the outstanding appeal of this trade fair remains undisputed, the density of new products is simply superb - and is very well received by the trade public. From this year onwards, the organiser is noticeably committed to addressing the clientele of joiners/carpenters that is so relevant to the industry. The importance of this target group for the kitchen market should be well known. Kevin Göbel, Managing Director of the cast ceramics specialist, summarises the concept of the trade fair format, which he considers to be completely coherent, as follows: "Every year, the relevance of area30 for the industry is demonstrated anew. For Systemceram, it is the most important trade fair of the year. We meet our existing customers and can generate new business contacts. What we particularly like is area30's focus on the kitchen industry, valuable contacts and networking, as well as the good atmosphere. area30 was a great success and a great motivation for everyone involved - 2025 is already firmly planned for us."

Of course, it is the impressive exhibitor presentations, the events and the expected stream of visitors that attract visitors to area30 in the first place. Also 'responsible' is the unique concept of area30 with its relaxing feel-good atmosphere for business and networking, numerous services plus friendly support, shuttle services and first-class parking facilities. And last but not least, it is the synergy effects that will attract the industry like a magnet in autumn thanks to the overall regional presence of various players - from countless in-house trade fairs to other exhibition centres in the surrounding area. For good reasons, as Arjan van Dijk, Sales Manager at NOVY, summarises: "area30 is an ideal platform for Novy to showcase our innovations to professionals in the kitchen industry.
