Innovations and other exhibition segments at "area30" in 2024

From 21 to 26 September, all decision-makers from the European kitchen industry will once again be drawn to Germany: In addition to the A30 Kitchen Mile, the central business event area30, which has long been indispensable, will be a particular focus of this important furnishing segment. As things stand at present, organiser Trendfairs GmbH is once again expecting a good 200 exhibitors and brands to present themselves to the expected 12,000 trade visitors from 60 countries in Löhne in their usual skilful and lavish manner on around 13,000 square metres of exhibition space at the 13th edition. It is above all the impressive variety of product groups and innovations that attracts the industry to area30.

This autumn's area30 is almost fully booked, which for this reason alone ensures a high level of attraction and, based on previous experience, will once again make this innovation show the best-attended trade fair centre. On the site at Lübbecker Straße 29 in Löhne, the major market leaders and most of the exhibitors and brands will come together for discussions and business in a highly concentrated yet pleasantly personalised setting. The best services, nearby parking facilities, central catering and, of course, unique special areas and events round off the unique position of area30.  

"Every year, the relevance of area30 for the industry is demonstrated anew. For Systemceram, it is the most important trade fair of the year. "We meet our existing customers and can generate new business contacts. What we particularly like is area30's focus on the kitchen industry, valuable contacts and networking, but also the good atmosphere. area30 was a great success and a great motivation for everyone involved - 2024 is already firmly planned for us," summarises Kevin Göbel from the management of the renowned company from Siershahn.  

At the central platform, decision-makers from kitchen studios, the specialised kitchen trade, association groups, the large-scale sector and project planners, as well as media representatives and representatives of associations, come into contact with almost all innovative market leaders and major brands, smart start-ups and intelligent newcomers at area30. What is striking this year is that some exhibitors have expanded their presentation areas.

This includes Naber, for example, whose Managing Director Lasse Naber emphasises as follows: "area30 is clearly a must for us - it is the leading trade fair in the industry. For Naber, it is the ideal stage to present our products to the trade public. We sell kitchen accessories that make people's everyday lives easier and more enjoyable. We have been part of the area30 family for many years and enjoy the atmosphere and service as well as the business success."   

As every year, well-known manufacturers of kitchen furniture as well as suppliers of sinks, taps, extraction systems, accessories, electrical appliances and IT and software await their trade fair guests in Löhne in a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere. With the changing demands of consumers and therefore the market, individual product groups are growing disproportionately. These include, for example, suppliers of high-quality worktops. In addition, some manufacturers of tables and chairs are utilising area30, as these themes are increasingly converging. The names Schösswender, Mayer and Dan-Form have already been "revealed"...  

Johannes Artmayr emphasises: "For Strasser Steine, it has been confirmed that area30 is the trade fair where decisions are made for the coming year. Not least because all major market players are represented at this trade fair. It is impressive that the already considerable influx of visitors could be topped again."    

The trade fair's smart accompanying programme is also an important driver of this growth. "Online marketing, artificial intelligence, ChatGPT - developments that everyone is talking about. But how exactly does the industry benefit from them? The 'innovation area' is the ideal opportunity to present our unique online marketing platform to a specialist audience of kitchen studios, manufacturers and associations," says Katharina Epple from Axregio, for example.

The organiser is therefore preparing another "stage" with a first-class lecture programme and, after the premiere of the "innovation area" last year was so well received by visitors and exhibitors alike, this special area will also be relaunched. In any case, the countdown is on - and the expectations for this year's area30 should once again be fulfilled with "more than expected" for all participants.
